- Board the Grand River Transit (GRT) 78 Fountain bus curbside just outside of the airport terminal. Ride the bus to Sportsworld and board GO Transit route 25 bus to Square One. Transfer again to reach Toronto.

- Cons: Long travel time multiple transfers
- The gist: If you are packing light and on a budget, taking the GRT and GO Transit buses are a convenient option.
Rideshare / GO Transit Hybrid
- Travel time: 20 minutes by car; 2 hours
- A good hybrid option to consider is taking a taxi or rideshare from the YKF Airport to Kitchener Station and board a GO Train or bus (Kitchener Line) towards Toronto Union Station. Bus service supplants when the train is not running. However, only the train goes directly to downtown Toronto
