This picturesque, bustling mountain railway station serves as a gateway to Jasper National Park for VIA Rail‘s Canadian, Jasper–Prince Rupert and Rocky Mountaineer tourist train. Located in the heart of the village, this station is a short walk away to gift shops, hotels, restaurants. The town is still recovering after the devastating 2024 wildfires of which Jasper Station was spared. This station also serves as a crew change and refueling stop. Nearby is the Canadian National Railways freight yard.
