Formerly known as John. C. Munro Hamilton International Airport and located just outside of Hamilton, Ontario in the community of Mount Hope. While predominantly a cargo airport, the recent passenger terminal expansion means that YHM now offers expanded flights thanks to Porter Airlines and WestJet. While not as accessible as Toronto airports such as Pearson (YYZ) or Billy Bishop (YTZ), Hamilton Airport is a good, budget friendly option who travellers looking to save and want some adventure.

Passenger

  • Being a smaller airport, YHM only has one passenger terminal. Navigation is easy and simple.

  • Aside from the standard fare of amenities, post-security offers local Dark Horse Coffee and a Duty Free and Departures shop featuring local Hamilton icons.
  • Whilst Air Canada does not operate flights from this airport, they do offer a shuttle bus via Landline for passenger travelling to Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ). Check in at the counter and board the bus. Go through security at YYZ.
