How To Get From LaGuardia Airport To Manhattan

Option 1: MTA LaGuardia Q70-SBS Bus / NYC Subway Option 2: Shuttle Bus Option 3: Taxi / Rideshare

Option 1: MTA LaGuardia Q70-SBS Bus / NYC Subway

  • Travel time: 45-60 minutes
  • With no direct rail link from LGA, riding into Manhattan is tricky but straightforward with only one transfer. From the terminal (all expect Terminal A; don’t worry there’s a free shuttle between terminals) catch the LaGuardia Q70-SBS Bus**** and ride to Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Avenue/74th Street Station and transfer to the NYC Subway and board the 7, E, F, M, or R subways. Be sure to check your final destination before boarding. There are other buses from LGA into Manhattan.
  • Consider purchasing OMNY Card, the New York metropolitan area’s integrated fare card to the city.
  • Fare for the MTA Bus & Subway is $2.90.
  • Cheapest

Option 2: Shuttle Bus

Option 3: Taxi / Rideshare

  • Travel time: 35-50 minutes
  • Undoubtedly, the most expensive option from our list but the most private. In addition to taxis, Uber and Lyft offer private rideshare services from the airport. If you arrive at rush hour expect to sit in traffic. Expect to pay about $35-45 for a ride.
