This commuter train station serves as the eastern terminus of the West Coast Express. Mostly aimed at commuters travelling from the Fraser Valley into Vancouver. While technically outside of Metro Vancouver, Mission City Station serves an important role in providing a convenient way to reach Vancouver.

- Designed for long-distance commuters travelling from the Fraser Valley into Vancouver for work. Mission City Station is designed for car-oriented, rush hour service. That said, Vancouverites looking for a weekend escape from the city might find the West Coast Express a great way to reach the Fraser Valley without a car.
