This commuter train station serves as the eastern terminus of the West Coast Express. Mostly aimed at commuters travelling from the Fraser Valley into Metro Vancouver
Good to know …
Pros
- Located in downtown Mission
- % trains each direction per weekday with good off-peak bus connections
Cons
- While eastbound Canadian Service (Train #2) passes by it does not stop at Mission City.
Notes
- Translink Bus 701 fills the gap in off=peak service to Vancouver
- Designed for long-distance commuters travelling from the Fraser Valley into Vancouver for work. Mission City Station is designed for car-oriented, rush hour service. That said, Vancouverites looking for a weekend escape from the city might find the West Coast Express a great way to reach the Fraser Valley without a car.
- Be careful not to confuse this station with Mission Harbour Station which serves VIA Rail’s Canadian travelling westbound toward Vancouver
