Vancouver International Airport is Canada’s Pacific (transpacific) hub, connecting international flights to the city and the country. Further connecting national and regional flights.
Of note, YVR is one of the fewer international airports to have a terminal for floatplanes. located south of the main terminal.
Downtown Vancouver can be reached via SkyTrain’s Canada Line station located in the airport.

- Pay a premium to take the airport rail link – SkyTrain.
- Can become congested and busy during peak summer and holiday travel seasons.
- Weather, mainly fog and rail and cause delays.
- Expensive parking and hotels.
